Payment Policy for The Reiki Nook and The Reiki College

Effective Date: 1.12.2022

Payment Terms:

1.1. All payments for courses and services offered by The Reiki Nook and The Reiki College ("the Company") must be made in full at the time of registration or as otherwise specified by the Company.

1.2. Payments can be made through accepted methods such as credit card, debit card, electronic funds transfer (EFT), or any other method approved by the Company.

1.3. The Company reserves the right to update or modify its accepted payment methods at any time.

Course and Service Access:

2.1. Once payment has been received and processed, access to the selected course(s) or service(s) will be granted.

2.2. Course materials, resources, and other relevant information will be provided to the participant within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 48 hours of payment confirmation.

2.3. The participant must access and commence the course(s) or service(s) within six (6) months from the date of payment. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of any moneys paid.

Refunds and Cancellations:

3.1. Non-Refundable Deposit: All training courses offered by the Company require a non-refundable deposit to secure a spot. The amount of the deposit will be clearly stated during the registration process.

3.2. Refunds for Services:

a) Refunds for services are only applicable for cancellations made by the participant at least 48 hours prior to the service delivery.

b) To request a refund, participants must notify the Company in writing or via email at least 48 hours prior to scheduled service delivery.

c) Refunds will be processed within 2 days of receiving a valid refund request.

d) Refunds will be issued minus any non-refundable deposit and any applicable administrative fees.

e) No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of a service will incur a full payment fee.

3.3 Refunds for Courses:

a) No refunds are offered for courses. Participants may reschedule to a later course if needed.

3.4. Course or Service Cancellations by the Company:

a) The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses or services at its discretion. In such cases, participants will be notified as soon as possible, and alternative options, including a refund, may be provided.

b) The Company shall not be held liable for any additional expenses incurred by participants due to course or service cancellations.

Transferability:

4.1. Courses and services offered by the Company are non-transferable. The participant who initially registered for the course or service must be the individual who accesses and completes it.

Participant Responsibilities:

5.1. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet any prerequisites or requirements stated for the course(s) or service(s) they wish to access.

5.2. Participants are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date contact and payment information.

5.3. It is the participant's responsibility to complete the course(s) or service(s) within the specified timeframe and in accordance with any guidelines or instructions provided by the Company.

By making a payment for any course(s) or service(s) offered by The Reiki Nook and The Reiki College, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this Payment Policy.

4.3. Participants are solely responsible for their own actions and decisions during and after the course(s) or service(s) provided by the Company.

Limitation of Liability:

5.1. The Company, its affiliates, instructors, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use of its website, services, or courses.

5.2. The Company shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, or expense incurred by participants during the course(s) or service(s).

6.1. The Company collects and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using the Company's services or courses, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

7.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
